JUANE




Juane is one of the main typical dishes of the gastronomy of the Peruvian jungle and is widely consumed during the San Juan festival that is celebrated on June 24 of each year in honor of Juan Bautista. It had its origin in the city of Moyobamba.

The juane would have been a food usually elabo
rated for the travelers since they could be kept for a long time without suffering alteratión due ti its decomposition.

Ingredients
4 chicken pieces
8 bijao leaves
1 kg of white rice
2 hard - boiled eggs
4 eggs
3/4 tsp. ground oregano
5 tsp. by Palillo Amarillito
4 tbsp. garlic
4 tbsp. vegetable oil
3 tbsp. of salt
1.5 liters of water
2 sibarita bay leaves
1 g of pepper
1/4 tsp. by comino
5 sachaculantro
4 olives candlewick  

MY EATING HABITS

I have bad eating habits to be honest.

At house we have a late breakfast every day and it is usually eggs, toast milk or coffe.

For lunch we eat varied, whatever my mom cooks, sometimes I cook.

We don´t normally eat dinner because we eat lunch so late that lunch counts as dinner.

I know that I have bad eating habits, it is something that I´m trying to improve in my life.
